Who am I?

I’m Jorge Pena – a Venezuelan photographer currently based in the sunny state of Florida. I’ve been snapping photos for as long as I can remember, starting at the young age of eight. From there, I immersed myself in the world of photography, devouring any and all resources I could find on the subject.

In the early 90s, I had the pleasure of working for the Contemporary Art Museum of Caracas Public Library where I soaked up invaluable knowledge from their impressive collection of art books. Not content to stop there, I took a Photography Course in 1994 and began making a name for myself on the Caracas circuit, shooting everything from weddings to quinceañeras.

I also dabbled in real estate, automotive, and product photography during my time at Intercom Group. In fact, I even developed a Certificate Photographer Program to train a team of ten photographers.

But my photography adventures didn’t stop there. As a freelancer, my work has been published in numerous iconic Venezuelan magazines including Playboy Venezuela, Ronda, Bravísimo, and Too Much, just to name a few. I’ve covered some of the biggest events in the country, including the Pepsi Music Awards and Miss Venezuela After Party, as well as interviewing personalities and capturing red carpet moments.

Starting fresh in the USA, I’m now building my business from the ground up with the support of my loved ones. With 40 years of experience under my belt, I’m ready to take on any challenge and capture life’s precious moments in all its glory.
